ACTIVIST OF THE MONTH

We are pleased to recognize Alexandra Caswell for her outstanding commitment to Animal Acres. Alex has been one of our most dedicated volunteer animal caregivers - driving up from Orange County dozens of weekends to assist with barn cleanings, feedings, and animal care. Alex always has a "pitch in" attitude and works long hours to get the job done and provide quality care for the sanctuary animals. An active vegan, Alex also started the website: www.humaneconsumer.com that is dedicated to promoting vegan companies and their products, and providing individuals with valuable vegan living tips and resources. This month, we are very happy to announce that after donating countless volunteer hours, Alex has joined our staff team as a full time animal caregiver! Thank you Alex, for being such a vital part of our rescue and refuge efforts for suffering farmed animals.
