ACTIVIST OF THE MONTH

This month, we are happy to recognize Rey Ortega as our Activist of the Month! Rey is a real sweetheart for animals, and he provides delicious sweets for humans, too, through his company, the Sunflour Baking Company. Rey founded the company to provide tasty vegan cookies and other desserts, and his sweets are a national favorite. Rey also promotes animal protection organizations on his products - Animal Acres is featured on the packaging of his delicious brownies. Rey is a regular at Animal Acres, and joins us throughout the year for our educational events, as well as provides donated sweets for our special events. This month, Rey is providing treats for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party, and we greatly appreciate his support. Thank you, Rey, for being a dedicated Animal Acres member, and one sweet guy!
